JACOB Gallagher looks set to be left devastated in upcoming Emmerdale scenes.
The young trainee doctor has had a bumpy ride in life and has finally seen his father disown him after a slew of life struggles.

Jacob, played by actor Joe-Warren Plant, left his dad crushed with the revelation that he was in a secret relationship with his dad’s ex.
The youngster had been quietly romancing Victoria Sugden after a slew of steamy sex sessions with one another.
Whilst Victoria was much younger than Jacob’s father David, she is equally a lot older than Jacob himself with her habit of age-gap relationships leaving eyes wide open around the village.
David was left aghast to hear the pair had been romping behind his back, espeically as he had opened up to Jacob about wanting to reconcile with her.
He expressed his disgust at the thought of his ex and his son sleeping together and it was not long until he decided to flee the village to see his daughter Amba and get away from Jacob.
Whilst David’s fate has seemingly been left unknown, Jacob will finally get the answers as to just how his dad feels about him almost four months on.
In upcoming scenes, he will be left crushed to hear that David is never ever coming back to the village as he appears to severe ties with his son for good.
Jacob is left on the verge of tears and soon lover Victoria is left overwhelmed with guilt that she is the root cause of the family being torn apart.
Victoria battles with how her pursuit for happiness with Jacob has made virtually everyone around her unhappy as she questions their age-gap love.
it is not the first time that Jacob and David have been in rocky waters.
Their relationship was fraught after Jacob was groomed by David’s other ex, Maya Stepney.
Maya and Jacob had an illicit relationship when he was just a teen and David struggled to get his head around the fact the pair had been together.
Jacob has also faced abandonment issues after he was deserted by Alicia Gallagher, who he previously called mum, as well as periods of disgust with his biological mother, Leyla, over her cocaine addiction and it resulting in Jacob being stabbed and left for dead.
